{"id":222,"date":"2013-04-22T20:42:45","date_gmt":"2013-04-23T00:42:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.theroacheshavenoking.com\/RoachesBlog\/?p=222"},"modified":"2013-04-22T20:42:45","modified_gmt":"2013-04-23T00:42:45","slug":"the-limited-wisdom-of-king-solomon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.danielevanweiss.com\/BlogRoaches\/?p=222","title":{"rendered":"The limited wisdom of King Solomon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-291\" alt=\"solomon1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.danielevanweiss.com\/RoachesBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/solomon1.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"475\" \/>There is a story in the Bible about the wisdom of Solomon. \u00a0Two women came to him, both carrying newborns, one alive, one dead. \u00a0Each woman claimed that the live baby was hers and that the dead was the other&#8217;s. \u00a0Solomon ruled that the only equitable solution was to divide the living baby between the two women. \u00a0One agreed. \u00a0The other said, No! \u00a0Don&#8217;t kill it. \u00a0Give it to her. \u00a0Whereupon Solomon decided that the second woman was the mother, because her love for the baby was greater than her need to possess it.<\/p>\n<p>This was such a big deal that\u00a0<em>All Israel heard of the judgment that the king had rendered, and they stood in awe of the king, because they perceived that the wisdom of God was in him to do justice.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Where did they get this dead baby to bring to Solomon?
